Stickmaking and Horncraft manufacture a unique range of walking sticks, bespoke horncraft cutlery, giftware items and stickmaking supplies.
 
The range of products are designed, manufactured and finished with the emphasis on quality that are well balanced, comfortable and durable that guarantee longevity. These advantages ensure we accommodate all our customers individual requirements.
 
Walking sticks are handcrafted from rams horn, buffalo horn, stag antler, and samba horn, native and exotic woods.
 
A variety of wooden handles are used e.g. Burr Oak, Burr Elm, Yew, Zebrano, Walnut, Wytch Elm, Laburnum and fitted to hazel, chestnut, blackthorn, fruitwood, maple or ash shanks.
 
Handles are shepherds crooks, market sticks, thumb sticks, cardigan sticks, knob sticks, wading staffs, snub tail walkers, crutch handles and even themed based handles depicting sport, leisure or hobbies, e.g. stag inset in resin on a stag horn staff stick.
 
Any height or length of walking stick can be made to suit the customer from very short to tall. Please see the example of sticks made on our Gallery/Catalogue page.
 
This is not a complete range. The craft of stickmaking offers the maker and the buyer a diverse range of materials to choose from and can include fitting silver collars with the owners name or initials, brass collars, or horn collars, white buffalo bone spacers etc.
 
All our sticks are manufactured and finished to an extremely high standard and fitted with a brass steel tipped ferrule. Sticks are usually coated with yacht varnish to aid durability, but if requested this finish can be omitted.
 
Horncraft cutlery utilizes the finest stainless steel. The handles are made using stag horn, buffalo horn, roe deer antler or samba horn or a combination of materials to produce items such as bespoke steak or cutlery sets, bottle stoppers or openers, cake, cheese, bread, butter knives, stilton cheese servers, carver sets, shoe horns, corkscrews, bells, clothes brushes, toasting forks, pickle or fondue forks, fish slice sets, tea forks, dessert spoons, pastry pie slices, sgian dhus, magnifying glasses, cloakroom sets, clothes brushes. Indeed the whole range of kitchenware condiments is available.
 
We are also able to make handles for these condiments in differing lengths to suit the user. All handles are highly polished. This privileged service exemplifies our commitment to the customer to obtain exactly the right product for their needs.
 
The steak or cutlery sets can be presented in proper presentation wooden boxes. We are researching costs to present all our products in such boxes. Currently we can offer to box any item (except steak or cutlery sets) utilizing the cheaper alternative of solid cardboard boxes.

All products manufactured by Stickmaking and Horncraft are guaranteed for twelve months against faulty materials or workmanship. Care instructions are provided for the sticks and horn craft cutlery. Additionally the business offers a renovation and repair service for products bought from different organisations.
 
Stick making supplies are available including preformed buffalo handles, wooden carving blanks, buffalo horn, rams horn, stag antler, roe deer antler, shanks, collars, ferrules etc.
 
Payment in full is required on all commissioned products. The customer would be notified the product had been completed and once payment is received the item would be dispatched. Postage and packaging are extra.
